In April 2011, the do.gma chamber orchestra visited the Marienmuenster Abbey - for good reason: an intensive orchestral rehearsal was followed by the recording of a new CD production.

With its new production “DO.GMA#2 – American Stringbook”, the do.gma chamber orchestra will venture on an exciting journey, exploring the origins and development of classical American music.

Included will be well known works such as the highly popular Adagio by Samuel Barber, as well as less well known pieces by American composers, which this production will introduce to a wider audience.

With our newest CD we want to introduce you to two of the most famous compositions by Peter Tchaikovsky.
